Empower yourself, your family and school with amazing concept.

Learn how to get the best out of the years ahead...

So, what are the 'bullies' that your children face?

Does your child doubt their abilities when you know they offer so much more?

Does your child bend to peer pressure, rather than express feelings and stand up for themselves?

How do you feel when you see so much promise in your child, yet she lacks the inner motivation to succeed?

Aren't you tired of feeling that something that you've said or done, or not said or done has damaged the self-esteem of your child? Wouldn't you like to know your role in the development of your child's self image?

This concept gives adults a series of short videos called 'Another Way' where Tully draws his cartoons and empowers parents with the tools that children can model.

Children make up their own mind as they view the cartoons and activities in 'Anudder World.'

What parents can do about Cyber bullying.

Cyber bullying is on the rise as students are using technology more to communicate.

Experts say, It's not what children are doing online, it's the balance of what they're doing when they're offline.

150 children between the ages of 10 and 18 and found that those involved in fewer extracurricular activities were also the ones most likely to exhibit risky behaviour online.

Exercise was a big factor. Kids who were participating in sports or dancing and other activities not involving the internet had experienced fewer problems online.

This is where parents came to the fore.

Cyber socialising begins early. Pre schoolers and up are entering cyber world and they want their 15 megabytes of fame. This affects youth far more than adults. The audience is as large as the internet itself. Kids generally don't want to report it. Bullying hides in anononimity, although now we can find almost anyone.

'Anudder World' empowers everyone above the destructive traps 'below the line.'

What can parents do about these issues?

  • Reinforce. 'Think before you click.'
  • Understand. Bullying behaviours are sophisticated - solutions need to be too. Don't judge to quickly.
  • Don't chase technology. Pull down a site - Another pops up.
  • Parents need to become more engaged by keeping communication lines open.
  • Prepare strategies. Example is everything. Model healthy behaviour. ( Have scripts ) for kids to default to when bullying occurs. Teach them to see bullying as really just 'victim behaviour' in disguise. Bullying pulls others down so they can feel strong.
  • NOTE: 99% of behaviour is generally fear based. Thats why these issues apply to everyone. This program empowers a 'no bull' approach to what is really going on. 'Anti Bullying' concepts fail because 'Anti' anything is resisting the reality of what someone is dealing with. So 'bullying' hides and mutates into other kinds of disfunction until it's addressed.
  • Be open with children. Establish a relationship of trust. This helps encourage kids to be more honest with you. Ie; 'Above the line' asks for help.
  • Keep internet access out of the bedroom.
  • Get children to think about their digital reputation. What you put on the net can't be taken back.
  • Become engaged in their online activities as best you can.
  • Secure home wireless networks.Discover Anudder World
Cyber bullying at schools.

Teachers aren't always trained in university to deal effectively with bullying issues.

Why it's a teachers problem. If students are bullied out of school, it's affecting their potential to learn at school.

It's really a community wellness issue. Parents and community groups need to work with schools.

Dr Margee Hume and Associate Professor Gillian Sullivan Mort, said it's actually not what children are doing online that is the problem, it's the balance of what they are doing offline which is the key to their wellbeing.

"Exercise was a big factor. All the kids who were participating in sports or dancing and other activities not involving the internet had experienced fewer problems online."

The results also showed that these children had a better sense of self and wellbeing, and could balance out instances of cyberbullying with their friendships away from school and the web. They were also less likely to be negatively affected by bullying and could switch off or walk away.
